+428 Actors, singers, sport players and other entertainers get paid by the millions to do simple things like sing a song or put a ball through a hoop but the random doctor who helps out thousands in a poor country is unknown and underpaid. Life's not fair, amirite?

i know. if every rich person just donated just one thousand dollars a year (which wouldn't really affect them) then a lot more things would be able to happen

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, it wouldn't! Consider.. The earth has the ability to produce more than enough food for EVERYone. However, due to human greed, politics, etc. this food is not distributed evenly. Even when developed countries donate to developing countries, it does not always trickle down to the common people. Why? Because that's just the way some humans are. Likewise with money.. We may donate millions of dollars but where does that money go? Especially when you read about how much money was donated to say, relief campaigns in disaster areas and then a month, two, even three months later, it STILL does not look much better. But I agree with the OP. Life is NOT fair.

Ha docters are not underpaid? Docters are some of the wealthiest people in my town

Once that doctor draws in millions of fans to watch him. Then he'll get paid that much

Acting is not 'simple.'

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah but i'd say saving lives is a little more difficult.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah. Alot of people can act. Saving lives requires years and years of schooling, being underpaid compared to how much you had to spend on school, and witnessing/treating gruesome injuries everyday.
