All I'm doing is removing the implication from the post that abstinence is the ONLY way to prevent or reduce the chance of pregnancy. It is from such an idea as presented in the post that stuff like legislation eliminating a comprehensive sex education in school curricula comes about, which leads to people not being aware of protection to use in the case that they choose to have sex.

I don't think that implication was made at all... There is plenty of scientific evidence establishing the causal relationship between sex and pregnancy, wanted or otherwise.
