what's with all the pokemon posts these days? is it like the cool thing now?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pokémon is always the cool thing, any day. You obviously didn't grow up in the 90's if you didn't know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this "90's kid" shit is getting real old sure, we all had the same childhood, cartoons and toys, but that doesn't mean that 50% of posts should be about them. yes, we remember that stuff and pokemon and etc, but one post about "remember how cool the 90's were with these cartoons and these toys were?" would be enough.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Now it became more obvious you weren't born in the 90s.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes, because every single person who was born in the 90's never ever ever ever gets tired of anything that they knew in their childhood. maybe i'm just sick of the same one post being repeated over and over? a search for "pokemon" has 34 entire PAGES of posts. we get it already, everyone loves pokemon

Not when pokémon had one of the largest fan following around the world. Besides, it's refreshing compared to posts about religion, politics, people bashing other things people do on this website, and facebook copies.

(Link) but now, religion, politics, facebook groups are just as big genres of posts as pokemon posts are it's not that big of a deal, to make thousands of posts about. especially if most of them aren't that good

It's about nostalgia. The 90's had some amazing things, which is largely related to either pokémon, Mario, or several other inventions of the video game and manga age.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i know what nostalgia is, i remember all those shows too and i miss them as well but it's just going to become cliche to speak of all those 90's things. I mean if you get reminded of something of your childhood once or twice, it's nice, but when you get reminded of it 20 times a day you kind of start to dislike it. I don't want amirite to turn into being able to be described "pokemon, facebook group, puns, and girly posts" just like mlia turned into "harry potter, dinosaur, coolteacher and bestbfever"

I'm surprised you didn't mention Zelda.

Pokemon posts don't start debates. And if they do, it's not a 500 comments debate.

This is why I love Ghost types. :D
