+696 Girls: If you want us to make a move, than at least show that you're interested. I mean, if us guys are gonna pull the trigger, you gotta at least give us something to shoot at, amirite?

So true.

Agreed.

I have to say it's hard to determine if you like us or not, which is what puts us back. some girls will go up to any guy and ask them anything, but there is a good percentage of us who don't want the pain of being turned down.

I'm terrified of rejection

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Classic line. Im going to remember this one.

Girls shouldn't be afraid of rejection. Its the guys who always have to make the move and either score or get shot down. Girls just have to deal with turning the guy down or not.

We do show you that we're interested... You're just too oblivious to notice!

Or maybe you aren't being as clever as you think you are.

^.^ your so rite about we showing interEst

If a girl is interested she would laugh at ur jokes. If she want to have it with you she would give u a pickle tickle

C'mon we're meant to be men, we have BALLS. Use them! (Not in the literal sense.) Just make the damn move. What's the big deal about rejection anyway? If a girl says no, well you can still be friends or you can move on. In no way will rejection be life altering. And if you can't figure out if a girl likes you or not, then she probably doesn't. It's so obvious to tell if a girl is interested anyway.

naw I really liked this guy and I looked at him a lot but every time I noticed him looking too, I would look away. I imagine that must have been pretty hard to figure out if I liked him, I only knew that he liked me because he would stare like a creeper and come sit at my friends' lunch table and randomly try to come up to talk to me (very awkwardly, since I hated him last year). OK now that rant is over. sheesh if I could go back in time showing him that I'm interested would be the 2nd thing I would do, after taking the drugs away from Michael Jackson

It seems like he likes me, but he doesn't do anything. How far do i have to put myself out there to see if he'll make a move?

Shy smiles or glances from across the room will NOT cut it, but you shouldn't really have to do anything major either. If in a group, sit next to him, talk to him. If you text, start the conversation once in a while. Guys love that. I hear you girls like to let the guy start every one, and sure, maybe we should do the bulk, but if you never approach him, he'll actually think you hate him and that his attempts at talking to you are merely annoyances to you. We're paranoid creatures. But be engaging, invite him into your plans, etc.
