So let's say the universe really is expanding. So does that mean that matter itself is expanding, like atoms and the empty space between are getting bigger at a constant rate? And we're getting bigger, maybe miles bigger every second. Of course we wouldn't notice it, since it'd all keep in proportion. So that'd explain why we aren't light years away from the sun by now. Eh? Why not? Amirite?
