Having people stare me down (especially kids) is a pet peeve of mine, and this is the trick I use, but occasionally there is a creep who just won't look away.

Yeah, I totally understand. Especially if it's a creepy old man who gets enjoyment out of it, I'll pretend like he isn't even there
