The original post is an example of a false syllogism. A syllogism is a type of argument. They're really just based on logic. It's pretty easy to make a false one. Like "If a dog has 4 legs and a chair has 4 legs, then a dog is a chair." Obviously not true, but it has a flow of logical thinking. I learn about this stuff in my Theory of Knowledge class. Get it?

Theory of Knowledge is a required class of the program I'm in. You could describe it as a philosophy course, and the base question is "How do we know what we know?" The basis of the ways of knowing are language, reason, sensory perception, and emotion.
