I think it's important to be able to talk about things like that with your parents. You might think you know everything, but you don't. Also, sex shouldn't be embarrassing, it should be something you can speak freely about with your parents. Fun fact: Syphilis and HPV can be contracted even while using a condom.

thats deffssss a fun fact. and yess we no, we have health. we no all the nasty disease and that the only way to stay 100 % un infected is to not have sex at all.

Middle school, come on. Of course you are going to know stuff but you shouldn't be knowing more than your parents at that point. Besides your parents should still be giving you "the talk." It's the best way to learn about sex and what happens. In this generation they should probably give the talk a little bit earlier but they should still be the ones to inform you.

You learn most of it in health class in the 6th grade though. And it saves the awkwardness that both sides have to go through.

AHAHHA so true, over the holidays all my family celebrated christmas at my freaky aunts/uncles house, when my aunt said she liked 69, my family knew WTF that meant, while me and my cousin were laughing our asses off in the other room!
