When we see the police pull somebody over, why do we always slow down? Shouldn't we speed up since the police are busy and can't pull us over? amirite?

but if you hit the cop because you're speeding, then you could be charged big time

Hahaha that was pretty clever. But, at least in the U.S., it's actually the law to slow down when there is a cop car. Though, I don't know how many drivers actually know that...I think a good amount of people are just trying to see what the other person got busted for heh.
