-70 Math sucks, but admit it, it is the most important and beautiful tool to the world, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, science is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Science is nothing without math. And math is nothing without science.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Science is nothing without math. And math is still pretty badass without science.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No it isn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha I love the second part of your comment

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Math has no practicality without science. It may be badass, but it's usefulness is limited.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's one of the most important and beautiful tools in the world, but I think imagination is slightly more important.

The ppl who voted no are uneducated...

thats true

Or completely dislike math and find no appliance for it in the day to day life except for seeing if i got my change right at the store.

I saw a commercial today earlier that had kids saying 'ugh, math shouldn't exist' 'nobody uses it anyways' 'it should dissapear' etc.. And then some it said that about 80% of jobs (or careers, I dont remember) require math AND science both. BUT, I dont care I still hate math, I wanna be a kids physical therapist, does that require any math? :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(*#;•±$*): Uh, yeah, it does require math. Physical therapy is a medical specialty, and medicine requires science, and science requires math.

-sorry bout the double comment,

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, if you want to get that degree in physical therapy, you're going to have to take math courses in college. People who say math is nothing without science; just a quick note: science (especially physics) is basically applied mathematics. Imagination is definitely important, I totally agree, but imagination will be nothing without being able to apply it in a knowledgeable manner. It's a balance. ;)

I love math

by Anonymous 13 years ago

me too :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you are both right and wrong, math is awesome, and it is the most important tool in the universe. also, to respond to earlier posts, almost all science can be boiled down to math.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you'll see my dick is the most important and beautiful tool in the world.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Unless you mean vagina I'm gonna disagree.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, "science" is a deductive tool. Completely separate from math. "Science" does not refer specifically to chemistry or physics or politics - it refers to a method (the Scientific Method) of gaining knowledge by proving/disproving hypotheses in a (theoretically) logically infallible situation. Like math, it CAN exist as an individual entity; however, both math and science are not very useful without one another.
