+368 Today, at a stop light, I noticed the guy beside me texting. As a test, I jolted my car forward, put it in neutral, and revved my engine. As predicted, the guy ripped right through the red light (which had cameras). He deserves the ticket he's going to get, amirite?

I've done this at least three times before, though not exactly the same.

You're my hero!!!!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah he deserves it. But you also shouldn't do that. Somebody could've gotten hurt, you never know.

It is, but its Hilarious so, lets let it slide.

Let's- an abbreviation meaning let us. Lets- ... not really a word actually.. Yeah, this again.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well it's not on the POTD so I guess your taking a new approach. And Lets is a word. Lets - A play that is nullified and has to be played again, esp. a when a served ball touches the top of the net.

Not according to autocorrect.. And everyone knows that autocorrect is ALWAYS eight.

I GET IT!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You made laugh harder than I have all week.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're- the contraction for you are Your- shows possession Yeah...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's just lame.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How is "lets" not a word? It's a conjugation of the verb "to let". ex. "He lets his friend drive his car".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I only said it so I could make the always eight joke. I know lets is a word.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

not* going to get because the justice system is extremely screwed up

by Anonymous 12 years ago

eh.... I mean, I get where you're coming from, but you all were stopped at the light, and the guy was probably trying to pay attention to the road too. He prob could've used better judgement though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This post is in MLIA form.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The first part is, but at the end it still asks a yes or no question so it still counts as amirite form.

Suggested for POTD.

Not a great idea. If this is true, you could be in jail for like vehicular manslaughter or some crap. He could have died or ran into someone else.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

At least he was texting at a stop light, not while in motion. Maybe you should be less of a bitch, you could have gotten someone killed.
