I think I heard a joke about that. There were two American girls who went to the water park with an exchange student from China, and while they were in the locker room the fire alarm went off and the three of them ran out of the building without their clothes. The American girls frantically tried to cover their privates, but the Chinese girl seemed more interested in hiding her face. When the firefighters had given them blankets to wrap up in, the American girls asked her why she hadn't tried to cover herself up. She explained, "In China, we recognize people by their faces."
