+395 Avatar: The Legend of Korra, or Avatar season four coming out in 2011, is the creators' attempt to redeem themselves from M. Night Shyamalan's destruction of their reputation. amirite?

I totally agree. Still, Avatar: The Last Airbender series is fucking awesome :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Of course! Its one of my favorite shows haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i hope that the new series will be just as good as the original

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its not a series, its a 12 part mini-series, each 15 minutes long.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Their not trying to redeem themselves. The series is AWESOME and doesn't have to be redeemed. M. Night. Shamayalamalan or whatever is the one who needs to be redeemed.

Korra is the only Avatar-related thing I've been excited about since the Sozin's Comet movie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That movie was intense!

I said season not series, i know its short episodes and there aren't a lot of them. Yes, they have to redeem themselves, because the douche m night scmeschmeschme spread smoething about them that made avatar look retarded, when it is in fact not, so they are starting something else to further prove how amazing avatar the last airbender is.

M. Night Shyamalan actually has really good movies. I just don't think The Last Airbender was his forte. He's one of my favorite directors. I'm sure a lot of you have seen The Sixth Sense and Signs, some of his best work.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I wasn't talking about his other movies. The Last Airbender was the end of him. It was a complete failure.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

he's actually working on another project right now, so no, it's not the end of him... and i know a lot of people who really enjoyed the movie so it wasn't a complete failure.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, I think its should be. He completely insulted a show I love. How could he marr it so badly and still be praised?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why should he still be praised? because it was one movie that didn't do so well. as i said above, he has other movies that are reguarded as classics. and bad is a matter of opinion. ive never seen the show and ive never seen the movie, but im willing to bet it wasnt nearly as bad as you're saying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

im willing to bet that makes you an arrogant jerk, if you havent seen the show OR the movie then you have absolutely no right to say anything

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i didnt say it WASN'T as bad as you're saying, did i? i said it's PROBABLY not as bad as you're making it out to be. so that would make YOU the arrogant jerk, for assuming something about me, now wouldn't it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They were probably planning it before M. Night gave it the bad reputation. It will leave the fans more satisfied though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He went to the high school I want to go to.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow, when is this coming on and why did I not hear about it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

because you live undr a rock. It comes out it 2011 and it's rumored to be a 12 episode mini-series, but depending on what they decide to do nd how well it goes, they might extend it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I might live under a rock, but at least I can spell.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

*under. I was kidding about livign under a rock.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh, it's hard to tell over the internets XD

In an interview they were asked what they thought of his movie. They said something along the lines of "We're really just trying to focus on this project right now (referring to legend of Korra) "
