Soda should be clear, amirite?

Seriously, who wants to drink something that's brown anyway? I would like to know who came up with that idea. Haha

they did that because when coca-cola was first invented it wasn't manufactured in a very clean way, so every once in a while little particles of dirt and other things would get into the soda, so to hide that they put brown food coloring in the drink so people wouldn't see the imperfections. obviously it's not necessary anymore but the look sort of stuck.

Use a straw or cut down. If you drink enough soda to effect your teeth, it probably effects other aspects of your health.

I remember pepsi or coke tried that once. It didn't sell so it was ended. To save your teeth drink a bit of clean water after coke.

To me soda is anything carbonated.I drink diet coke call that soda.If I wanted a clear drink I would say ginger ale or sprite or something like that
