Lol, when I was little, my mates and I used to read this comic with two dogs named Gnasher and Gnipper in it, and I named my pet mice Gnasher and Gnipper, and then some guy a very streets down named his rats the same thing >:/ Everyone thought I copied him, instead of the other way around.

My English-teacher mother read me Kipling when I was in fifth grade, with the result that I named my hamster Beetle. It was unanimously agreed that this was a better name than I had given my last hamster, Destiny Starchild Glitter Paws.
