This is one of those things that I can't really vote on. They're opposite extremes, making them equally bad. It would be like saying "You'd rather have binge eating disorder and be morbidly obese than have severe anorexia and be dangerously underweight."

I have no self esteem but I still think that's better than if I annoyed everyone by saying how sexy I am, especially if it's not true. Conceited/arrogant people often are dislike by others, or at least that's what I've seen.
