I loved (and still do completely adore) that show. It could be in turns creepy and hilarious (and in one or two episodes, very, very, sad). It was a brilliant, brilliant kids show that wasn't really meant for kids at all. I go back and watch it now and then and I can actually catch all the little messages the creators threw in - how they poked fun at Hollywood, satirized the military, etc. It was so violent and crazy and brilliant. It takes so much skill to pull off such an abstract and weird show. A lot of kids' shows are so boring these days. Always goody-goody and never with anything interesting. It's like parents are scared of anything even remotely strange or scary. -___-

It scared me to my core, but yes, you have to admit it's a million times better than today's cartoons.. except I don't think I'll ever get over my fear of that show. That's probably why I can't bring myself to watch horror movies, it's like going back in time and watching Courage the Cowardly Dog. And I remember watching one of those really sad episodes, I cried.

I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog. It was one of the most unique cartoon shows during its time, and still pretty much is. Sure it was creepy, but it was funny too.

No, I was that one creeper kid who would actually watch more than 5 minutes of it, while my sister coward in the corner. I don't actually remember much of it... except for once, I think he was in a bird's nest. That is all.

One episode scared me so bad that I was afraid to flush the toilet for 6 years of my life. I would flush then run like hell. It's a shame I don't remember which episode it was though. It was the one where the antagonist would stand outside in the rain and just watch the house, and then finally made it into the house by entering through the toilet after Courage had flushed. I loved that show so much.

I actually loved that show! It wasn't until I watched it when I was older and thought, "whoa, this is some scary shit. How was I not scarred for life?" I guess prudes got it cancelled. Sigh. :/
