Then you are confused; you're an agnostic, not an atheist.
You are the one who is confused. Atheist (A=No theos=God) is someone who doesn't beleive in a God. It's been proven that Jesus was a real person. I just don't beleive that he was the son of God or that he performed miracles. An agnostic is someone who thinks that there is a possibility of a God, but there's no way to know for sure.
