English teachers are either crazy people who make English the best class of your day or strict boring teachers that just exist to make that one hour hell. amirite?

It switches. Sometimes, it's fun, but sometimes, it's a living hell :/ Sometimes, we memorize 32-line poems and read disgusting books, but sometimes, we participate in group discussions.

I've been fortunate enough to get pretty fun teachers all my 10 years of education so far. Some weren't too interesting but not too dreary either. Others were captivating and lively.

I think it's a rule for English teachers to be slightly insane. My senior American Lit teacher made us take tons of notes, but we only did a project or two.

My English teacher is awesome, but sometimes I feel like she's going to tie us up and throw us in the ocean. Like Thursday, when some of the kids wrote on the tests that say DO NOT WRITE ON THIS TEST.

I swear, I have a better vocabulary and grasp of grammar than she does. One day, I asked her what ''irrevocably'' meant, just to see if she knew. She told me to stop being so stupid and making up words ''just for the attention''.

o dont worry we read a poem (idk how to spell the word for the type of poem it was started with a h) and it was even in the title "The Crescent Moon" hmmmmm wonder what its about then when i said its a crescent moon she didn't know what that was. I wanted to stand up and yell "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A F***ING CRESCENT MOON IS? WHAT TYPE OF TEACHER ARE YOU?"
