Because after you've lived through all that, you know that that meeting you're speeding to isn't quite as important as those little moments. So you go as slowly as possible to make sure you catch all of them before they're gone

Because old people have lived their lives already, so there's no need for them to rush ... While the young still want to experience everything, so try to do it as soon as possible, therefore drive faster. Hehe, I feel smug :P
