Girls complain that they have to spend a lot of time putting make-up on and wear cute clothes for guys, when really you don't have to do that. It's called being yourself, amirite?

oh yeah, thats it. because being yourself totally gets you anywhere if you dont exactly look like a normal person without any makeup. guys dont like it if you look all plain and NATURAL, and natural as in you dont do ANYTHING not put on 'natural' looking makeup.

i mean if someone spends hours doig their hair and make up and make sure they look their best to impress guys, its not worth it. and im not saying girls shouldnt wear makeup. i wear makeup. i just dont do it cuz of guys. i do it for myself.

if you do it for yourself thats fine. but in the post it says 'for guys'. the only reason most girls do is so they look good for themselves, AND so other people think they look pretty.

im not a guy, but a LOT of people look pretty odd naturally. if no one wore makeup, it would be different, because no one would care. but almost everyone i know thats a girl DOES wear it, and seeing them without it makes them look odd because youre not used to it. most people i know dont really like the way they look withOUT makeup. natural is plain...

if you wore makeup only occasionally or you can handle not wearing it on a normal day, then ppl can get used to you wearing makeup AND not wearing makeup. there's a reason we were all born with plain eyes.

and theres a reason someone came up with the idea of makeup. to enhance the way your face looks, so you can LOOK more attractive. looks shouldnt matter anyways, make up or not, someone shouldnt not like you because you do / dont wear any... its just so girls can like the way they look a little better. not all girls really like the way they look naturally.

Ok, I think we can agree that makeup can enhance looks, but should not be used as frequently as some girls do (such as beautifying themselves for housework). Makeup is ok, but shouldn't be gobbed on. It should be used to enhance instead of creating new features.

Actually most girls do look better without make-up, we understand you're not perfect and it takes some confidence to say that yourself. That confidence is sexy. And if you MUST wear make-up, please don't put on a lot, keep it natural looking.

I'm a girl and I wear make up because I want to cover up my flaws to give me more self confidence, not because I want to impress guys. I never complain about having to wear make up, if I didn't want to wear it, I wouldn't. Simple as that.

yeah, i agree. sometimes it's just a confidence thing. it's not ALWAYS for guys same with wearing cute clothes i do it because i like it. not to impress guys, and i certainly dont complain about having to do it. personally, i think it's fun to get dressed up:)

i only wear foundation to cover some pimples occasionally and also a little eyeliner on the bottom eyelid and lip gloss. I think thts enough or u can maybe wear eyeliner on the top. That's just my opinion.I also wear glasses so i'd want a little more confidence with a tiny bit of make up.

I LOVE makeup and have since I was like 3 :) and, I get paid $60-100 an hour to do it. I'm lucky enough to look good with anything from drag queen crazy makeup to naked and natural (I have no eyebrows though so I gotta put those on a bit) but I think its sad when girls won't leave their house without makeup. If you're confident without it you'll be even more confident with it.

as far as im concerned, the reason girls wear make up for guys is because the push to be the perfect girls is so big. Lets face it, every guy would choose a skinny, beautiful girl with big boobs over a fat, ugly chick right? If there wasn't so much pressure to look perfect maybe our perception of beauty wouldn't be so distorted.

When I go out, I put on make up and where cute clothes for myself and for everyone else, not just for guys. I couldn't care less if there was guys there or not. Guys do exactly the same thing, they get dressed to go out don't they?

To guys who think the majority of men prefer natural girls. Yeah...that's why all the perfect doll-like girls have no interest from guys at all, and all the tired looking 'ugly' girls without make up have a stream of guys chasing after them! Yeah sure. Guys can tell me as many times as they want that they prefer natural looking girls, but I won't believe them untill they actually choose to date them and they actually start to find natural looking celebrities hot, not Megan Fox for gods sake. When was the last time you saw a doll-like girl being chased by guys? There usually shunned by us because that much makeup is more ugly than the so-called "ugly" girls. Appearance isn't what guys want in a relationship anyway, at least a serious one. Looks can catch a guy's attention, but it's her personality that keeps it.

So far every guy that i have been with HATED when i but on makeup. they all love my naural look and i have been told NOT to put anything over my (in the words of my boyfriend) "beautiful eyes". i have been told that i dont need to dress up as well. guys who go JUST for looks are, in my opinion shallow
