+92 Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The chicken. Why? The chicken simply "is". The egg only has potential to become a chicken. amirite?

The egg also has potential to become an omelette. Also, what's to say the chicken is, or will be, fertile? The chicken only had the potential to create an egg.

Hahahah no! Look, the chicken must have it's entire gentic coding while it is the egg. This egg will have come from a very close ancestor to the chicken and have a mutation or alteration thus changing it from Ancestor to Chicken egg. So the egg came first

I thought dinosaur eggs came first..?

the question is presented in a manner that the question is which occured prior to the other.chicken(x) egg y in basic logic the egg must come first because to produce an x you must first have a y. they do not exist without each other. but for a chicken to exist , it must exist as and egg first.
