Someone tell me how college is better?
Just curious.

You choose your own classes, work on your own schedule. There's more of a sense of unity in college, as people actually WANT to be there. Sports in college are at a level high school could never achieve (and whether or not you're into football, nothing beats cheering on your team in a crowd of 80,000+ people).
I can keep elaborating if you need me to.

@839361 (OptimusPrime69): Four words sum it up best; parties, people, flexibility, freedom.

You choose when you have classes, you only go for a couple hours a day, you can wake up 10 min before class and still be on time if you live on campus, you have way more freedom. Need I say more?

I'm not even *in* college but I'm so excited. It's a fresh slate with a bunch of new people, a new sense of independence, and it just seems like it'd be more fun.
All of my friends in college told me it's a billion times better than high school.

The only thing high school has going for it that the work was ridiculously easy.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This. I was going to say this. You actually have to study in college
by Anonymous13 years ago
Which is currently kicking my butt... lol.

High School is better in the sense that if you fail, you didn't just throw away thousands of dollars. College is better in the sense that you don't get treated like a baby.

I love high school! But am really excited for college!

depends where you go to college...

I haven't been in either, so I wouldn't know.

college vs. high school: later classes, less busy work, more time with friends, more freedom, less meddling from parents, more variety and interesting subjects for classes. pretty much a no brainer in my book.
by Anonymous13 years ago
doing classes for something that you want to do, easier than AP classes (in my opinion, at least), more clubs, better teachers (for the most part), CLASS GETTING CANCELLED!, internships
The only bad stuff is being poor and having to walk outside for some classes (but my high school had 13 buildings, so not so much worse.)
