+611 In high school health classes they give teens those babies to try and deter them from getting pregnant. If they really wanted to ensure none of the kids would ever get pregnant though they'd give them preteens, amirite?

My 9th grade health class had to write a sample budget of what their expenses would be if they had a baby. It definitely worked.

Toddlers would do it for me.

They should give out condoms and birth control.

They really should start teaching us how awful teenage pregnancy is before high school. People don't get the baby thing in my school until junior or senior year, when it's probably too late. If they can't do the baby thing, they could at least, as Voldemorte said, give us an assignment about the cost of children.

Idk, I feel like teenagers KNOW the consequences. They know its hard work they have to give up a lot blah blah. I think a lot of teen moms...want it. Because they think a baby will make their boyfriend stay with them. Or make that random hookup be with them period. Or that they'll have a baby and get married and be happily ever after. Which is all bullshit.

Some teen mom's couldnt care less about what happens to the baby-daddy. They just want someone to love and have someone depend on them and love them. And for others, it's an accident, but they fall in love with the baby and dont want to put it in the system. (I go to a school that has a magnet school called Cyesis for pregnant teens and teen moms, as well as their baby-daddy's and my art class is in the Cyesis part of the campus)
