+662 The fact that we elected our first black president isn't exciting anymore, amirite?

It's kind of sad that it even matters. People are people. Color doesn't really matter.

To me, it was never exciting...just sayin

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it shouldn't be exciting or any different than any other president.

He isn't black. He's biracial.

And if anything, I'd say he's more white than black despite his skin tone since he grew up under the influence of his white family after his dad left.

Obama isn't the first black president. There have been around 7, in total, with Bill Clinton being recognized as the "first" by the CBC. http://diversityinc.com/content/1757/article/1461/

Yeah it never was exciting

I honestly kinda forgot...

I never thought it was a big deal. Skin color doesn't affect brains.

^^agreed.

It never mattered to me. In fact, I get really pissed off at the people who made a huge deal about it, and ESPECIALLY the people who voted for hum based on his skin color. It's like opposite discrimination.

He's cool and all, but hes a CCCCCCCCCOMBO BREAKER.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't really see why it mattered in the first place.
