+656 Your hair shouldn't be lighter than your skin tone, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm pretty sure thats something most people can't control

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think the post is referring to people who tan too much or dye their hair.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm really surprised this is voted so high. There are lots of people with really dark skin and light hair. In a way, this post is almost racist.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

By that logic everything is racist. This post is not racist. Racist: I don't like you because you're black. Not Racist : Hair shouldn't be lighter than the skin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ALMOST racist, because it's discriminating against people with a darker skin tone. NOT racist because it's not discriminating against any particular race.

As everyone else was saying, I think its directed towards girls that tan excessively-so they are UN-NATURALLY dark, and then bleach their hair so it is UN-NATURALLY light. This combo of coarse looks bad. I think If someone was naturally born with hair lighter than their skin, it would not look bad because it was natural so chill out

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why would I need to chill out? It's not like I came up and said "omgggg this post is soooooo racist!!1!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's pretty rare that people are born with hair lighter than their skin (although it happens) usually it's dyed and i think thats what this post is talking about

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think its worse when people have the same color hair as their skin tone

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ugh...gross orange tans and bleach blonde hair...gross

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what about natural blondes??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People who are naturally blonde don't normally have naturally dark skin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I dunno about that, I'm a natural blonde who spends a lot of time outside and I get wicked tan. I'm about 75% German, hence the blonde; and about 25% Native American, hence the tan.

what about girls with really blonde hair and a normal, beige skin tone? their hair is still lighter than their skin. but it looks fine. lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's exactly what I was thinking. There's really no skin tone lighter than blonde...I mean maybe albino but their hair is white so it's still lighter than their skin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha. I feel like this is aimed at black people and their multi-color weave. (:

I know this chick who's really yellow and she has light, thin, blonde hair, and it looks like someone took a cheese grater to her head and turned her skin into hair. its FUCKIN WEIRD
