If the kid had a say, no it's not BS. If the divorce was because of cheating, drinking, or abusive issues, it's not BS. If it just didn't work out, that's bs. Honestly even if it's for safety (because a lot of people try and hurt their families after a divorce) if it wasn't for abusive reasons you should be able to see your kid whenever.
