i have one pair of shoes and they last 2 years, girls get two pairs of shoes and they last a week why? so dumb, amirite?

those shoes you had for 2 years probably looked like garbage for the last year. i think if you wear only one pair of shoes and active throughout your days a pair of shoes lasts about 4-6 months

I think it depends on the quality of the shoe and what your doing. If you have an office job, sitting around all day your shoes can last a while. If your stomping around in the mud not so much.

I'm a scool kid. I do everything with my shoes. I walk to and from school, I run, I basically do everything except work in them. (I got company shoes for that).But I have to admit, I'm a freak. I take care of them almost religiously. And they are pretty good quality

Yeah, I have a lot of shoes, but I wear them, for a LONG time. Last week I almost threw a fit when my mom threw away my favorite pair of shoes I've had for 3 years. They were LITERALLY down to cardboard, tape, and ripped cloth. We wear shoes GOOD.

girls have a lot of shoes because they like to coordinate them with their outfits. i'm a girl and i've had the same favorite pair of sneakers for 3 years, but i'm able to still use them because i alternate shoes so none of them die within a few months.

@HoustonH We disagree because we don't know anyone, male or female, who goes through 2 pairs of shoes per week. That is a stupid exaggeration, and as such warrants disagreement. Btw, I'm a woman, and I have shoes that are 10 years old, and still look good. It's about variety, as aforementioned, not about wearing things out.
