It's my favorite show but 7 seasons exhausts the show's purpose. A new Michael might actually make season 8 good.

Agreed. I can only listen to so much "That's what she said!" Also: The plot is wearing thing...season 8 might be the last.

Actually, I think "that's what she said" is one of the best-handled running gags on the show. It's used neither too little nor too much. I'm getting a little fed up with corporate forgiving Michael for doing things that in any real-life situation would get him fired and sued... Oh, and season 8 is definitely going to be the last, barring some sort of miracle.

Yes they are...the producers said in an interview (I'm paraphrasing) "Steve is leaving us very soon...we're considering many who will take his place." They're considering Ed Helms (Andy Bernard).

Steve Carrell probably finally realized the show is shit. Once every episode's plot starts revolving around Michael doing something stupid, the show has pretty much gone to hell. The one way a new Michael would save the show would be if the new Michael was played by Ricky Gervais.

I love that show, but I think it's time for it to end. It's just not really funny anymore. I think they should just quit, before he leaves because when he leaves it's going to completely suck :/
