+443 Oberammergaueralpenkräuterdelikatessenfrühstückskäse is a ridiculous name for a type of cheese, amirite?

but it sounds pretty delicious.

As this site is largely USAmerican I imagine any name other than "Squeezy" for a cheese seems exotic.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Squeezy? What the hell is that? =P lol And for the record, I'm a "USAmerican" and a cheese addict :D And not it a 'cheese in a can' way xD *tries not to spaz at stereotypical member*

USAmerican cheese is made from pasteurised milk. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of awful cheese in Europe but I have eaten in the finest places in the USA and you just don't do decent cheese. You don't even import good cheese.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay then. The finest places in the USA and you didn't get good cheese? Where did you eat at, Burger King? lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know where you've eaten, because I've eaten some exceptional cheese both imported and domestic. And it's not even at the "finest places in the USA."

Oh, you poor thing, not getting your fancy cheese in America, boohoo. Well, guess what, if you've developed such an attachment to cheese that you would insult a country because it doesn't specialize in your precious dairy products, then go ahead and leave. You won't be sorly missed here. We've got a lot to offer other than our below-standards, straight-F, unsophisticated cheese.

I never said I didn't get it outside of the united states. I simply said that I've had some fantastic cheeses within this country that weren't served in high end restaurants or stores.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh, yeah. Then I'll have to agree with you. ............ Sorry about that.

Just because we're American, doesn't mean we're completely stupid and ignorant. I'm not going to deny it, I'm not very educated in the field of cheeses, but I have never seen any cheese brand by the name of Squeezy, and the implied notion of spray-on cheese disgusts me. I also have never seen that stuff used anywhere in real life, and have not on many occasions seen it sold anywhere that I would generally shop.

And I actually know what it means...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How exactly would that be pronounced? :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the last part means breakfest cheese :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes. and it all means oberammergau's (that's a regoin in germany) alp herb delicacy breakfast cheese

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lmfao, i got this for hangman and i was like wtf is this?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would think it's pretty ridiculous as a name for anything. What does it mean?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Its pronounced Ober (like over but with a "B" in place of the "V") ammer (with a short a) gauer (rhyme with sour) alpen (like alpine but with a short "I" sound) kräuter (the äu makes a sound similar to oui) delikat (pronounced like delicate) essen (pretty self explanitory, that one) Früstück (pronounced "Frue-shtuck) käse (rhymes with mesa)
