Actually Cars and Cars 2 have been rated below 92% which i belive is the 3 lowest rating they have gotten.

Cars and Cars 2. I think Cars 2 was the only Pixar movie to ever have a negative rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Sad :(

i liked cars 2 actually. i think people are hard on it because pixar movies are usually held to such a high standard. also, especially in recent years, pixar has made movies that are enjoyable for kids but have a message that's mainly geared for adults--think of the incredibles, wall-e, ratatouille, & even toy story 3 & finding nemo. cars 2, on the other hand, was a kid's movie through & through. but it was still original, enjoyable, and well-written (my favorite thing about pixar's movies).

I never really liked Cars, and Cars 2 kinda just set that dislike in stone. I'm just waiting for the new Monsters inc. movie, seeing as it's due around my 18th birthday.
