You get used to it, though some tasks may be remain challenging. Righties have it easier.

it's not so much as it's tough as it's annoying. like when you write with pencil, the graphite gets all over the side of your hand. or if you are writing with a pen, your hand will smudge the ink. or if you are sitting at one of those old fashioned desks that are attached to the chair on the right side, you have like no way to write because there's nothing to rest your left arm on. although it's tough when you have to adapt to using things like scissors and chainsaws, which are not typically made for left handed people.

Yeah, it sort of is difficult. But I manage. I just don't like it when I'm not wearing a cover on my arm, and I'm writing in my notebook and the springs of the notebook digs into my arm, and the pencil stuff makes my hand disgusting looking. And I can't use a cheese grater very well. Either way, I love being a leftie

My school's desks they bought for APs were all right handed. My back was sore for a week after APs.

I've never actually had a problem with right-handed desks; I just rest my arm on the part besides my paper.

Over 25 left handed people a year are killed form using things meant for right handed people. But other than that, it's not too challenging. Except for the time I tried to use the chain saw... I'll miss those toes :/
