My best friend...I've known him since we were babies, and he still can't spell my last name correctly.

I'm one of the few people that can spell my friend's last name. It helps that in fifth grade we switched classrooms for reading and I was in the desk with her name on it.

I just mean that if your friend's name is spelled weird (like my friend's name is EmilEE, not EmilY) then your friends will know how to spell it, while strangers won't know. But, yeah, you're right, it's an obvious post. ;)
