+182 This could just be a stone thrown in the dark, but Sakineh Mohammedi Ashtiani's death sentence seems a little harsh, amirite?

i cant tell if the "stone thrown in the dark" was at all realted to her being stonned. or if its just a coincidence

Hardly any loss, cry me a river.

You're probably right. People being alive is overrated...

A murderer had no problem with taking out another human being, so why should we have such a problem taking out a murderer?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

because you're a hypocrite if you reprimand someone for killing, but are totally okay with someone's punishment being unjust. you don't change your morals depending on the person; morals are morals and despite if the person was good or bad you have to be fair.

i say if you kill someone you deserve to die(unless it was defense) its just whats fair its not hypocritial at all

She isn't a murderer dimwit, she cheated on her dead husband.. Stupid right? That's what happens when you live in Iran. You get stoned to death because apparently you can cheat on someone dead.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She was convicted of murder and adultery.

go to hell.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Be polite. You know you can't change your morals from person to person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why? was that an innaccurate statement?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well considering you just insinuated that Muslim's are barbaric and aren't able to run a country properly, yeah, i'm going to say that was a little inaccurate. my family is Muslim and we're plenty capable of being normal. piss off.

Geez everyone chill out! Just accept the facts instead of arguing over whose right and whose wrong! C mon. Go online and look up the facts if it's such a big fuckin deal

Personally, I think that if you kill a human being, other than in defense of urself or someone else, or ur belongings, u should be killed urself in most cases. Thts totally fair bc its even, it takes murderers off the streets w no chance of return obviously, and will make a lot of ppl think twice abt their actions. The murder rate would drop dramatically.
