They already have them in Canada and traffic hasn't gotten any worse..

Canada had them on the pedestrian walk signals, like it tells the person walking how much time they've got until they cross. People driving use them to see how much time they've got until the light turns yellow.

they are WAY too far...It starts in like the hundreds wtf?! 164...163...162 and the walking one turns on right when you begin to walk "oh yay! it finally turned green" *puts one foot in to cross* 10..9.. *OH GOD OH GOD! RUN!*
