Most music is dull . Really, really dull. But not nearly as dull as music nerds talking about their dull musical tastes. Please don't confuse your introspection and personal taste in music with connoisseurship or insight of any kind. I'm glad you like it but really, keep it to yourself.

Really? This is a site for OPINIONS. Ergo, he can voice his opinion. Just because you are so close-minded that you can stereotype the majority of music as dull doesn't mean everyone else should. Also, what music you may find as dull, others may find as great. And discussing music does not make you a nerd.

Amen to that joker, who the hell thinks most music is dull? Speaking so condescendingly isn't going to enable anyone to suddenly think "oh that person really has a great taste in music that isn't dull!" asshole.

I think that if you're a music lover, you would talk more about the lyrics in a song, the meaning behind it, or the music in general. Not just albums.
