+224 We try to teach children all of our history but what happens in the future when there will be so many major events and discoveries? Will school last the rest of their lives? amirite?

no. People can remember things that are happening. No one will ever forget 9/11.

Except anyone who isn't American?

Most of the world is aware of 9/11 and the War on Terror...

Well yeah the War on Terror, because that's actually abroad and because of that, people might have been bi curious and found out what started it, but I'm pretty sure for the most part other countries don't know about it.... That sort of stuff happens often to some countries.

History teaches only what is considered significant. As history expands and more significant events occur, they will displace events of lesser importance. So minor events will no longer be taught and some major events will be briefly discussed.

It'd be like how it is today. We can't learn EVERY event that was deemed significant at one point, but you spend the rest of your life learning on your own what seems important to you.
