I was unpacking diapers for my little sister one time and the plastic smell reminded me of something but I just could not remember. About two days later it hit me and I blurted out "water babies!!!"

One day, I was over my friend's house taking a shower and she had this nice-smelling soap and, as soon as I smelled it, a flood of memories from over a decade ago (i.e. 3-5 years old) just rushed into my mind from nowhere. It was astounding and nostalgic at the same time....then my friend got mad at me because I took such a long shower. ;)

cigarettes do it for me. I lived with my dad when I was a little kid and he smoked all the time, and he was the first person I met who did (obviously, he's my dad)
