True musicians sound as good as they are live as they do on record, amirite?

I like the idea, but I feel the wording could have been better.

because they don't rely on autotune when recording their songs.

Not necessarily. The acoustics could be bad, the sound balance could be off, plus it's a lot easier to harmonize in the studio than on stage.

True musicians should embrace technology and benefit from the advantages it offers in the music industry.
If a musician sounds just as good live, that doesn't mean they are a "true" musician. It just means that they don't benefit from technology.

i don't see how that makes you a true musician. a true musician puts everything they have into every performance whether they have the exceptional talent to sound great while they're running around dancing or not
and true musicians are performers they just give everything they can and that's what makes them great not so much their voices
in my opinion

They make these things called "electronic instruments" now. Though anyone can play them, very few have the skills to record something truly amazing.

Nickelback sounds almost better live than they do in the studio...
by Anonymous12 years ago
Nickelback is terrible.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Good for you for thinking that, but I actually like Nickelback.

Hanson and Panic! At the Disco are two of my all-time favorites to see live. They give amazing shows and sound so incredible at the same time.

Weezer, the Maine, and Augustana sound soo great live. Those were probably the best shows I've been to. Actually, Austin Gibbs is pretty good, too.
