I believe we can.*hic* And I believe we *hic* must. That's what the *hic* people who sent us here expect of us. With their *hic* votes, they've determined that governing will now *hic* be a shared responsibility between parties. New laws will *hic* only pass with support from Democrats and *hic* Republicans. We will move *hic* forward together, or not at all -- for the challenges *hic* we face are bigger than party, and bigger *hic* than politics.
