-232 They should rename "musicals". Homo-erotic filmography is a better title, amirite?

O CODY (Insert some douchebag who has negative comments towards you below)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm guessing that this comment is supposed to act as a safeguard against anyone who has a valid opinion that disagrees with the original post? You're a moron for assuming that anyone who disagrees with you is wrong. Why don't you go back to Wendy's and get to work on getting me "fries with that".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I see it more as a "I myself am a gay man who finds this post perfectly fine, since i know cody's humor and find it acceptable. Yet I know some assfag dick clown is going to ruin the post by saying something dumb" kind of comment. Which you seemed to have taken care of.

The musical is a fantastic art form, and "filmography" only refers to film. So no way.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was referring to films. A musical is a film. A play can be a musical I suppose, but the filmography hinted that I only meant films.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"A play can be a musical I suppose"? Please tell me this is a joke. The definition of a musical is a theatre production involving songs (defined as music with lyrics) and dialogue. A play has no music. This is quite a huge difference, you dolt. It's like saying that all rectangles are squares (hint: the answer is false). All plays are NOT musicals, and all musicals are NOT plays. Also, I can see how you're trying to cover your ass by saying you were only referring to films... the majority of films that are musicals (West Side Story, Hairspray, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd) WERE MUSICALS FIRST! Lastly, it's obvious that being in productions (musicals included) is a lot more homo erotic than showering with a bunch of your buddies after a sweaty game of football or basketball. You most likely have no friends since you alienate every single category of people in high school/college/life. Go read up on something before making yourself look like an uneducated moron.

I don't think he was trying to make people mad, he just thought it would be funny if musicals that are films were called homo-erotic filmography

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, he never ONLY said musicals that are also films should be called homo-erotic filmography. A musical is a musical as long as it has singing and dialogue. It doesn't HAVE to be a film. In fact, most of them AREN'T films.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was simply stating i know that plays are musicals, but i wasn't referring to those. Way to blow everything I said out of context. I'm not talking about plays, i'm talking about movies. I'm not retarded, i'm just trying to point out that that wasn't what i was talking about. Secondly, i don't play football or basketball. Idk where you got that idea from. I never alienated anyone. At all. Ever. Not once. Not in this whole post. Not in real life. Not anywhere. You're making yourself look tarded. The go to argument for anyone you don't know is "you probably have no friends" This proves that you have no valid argument, you just don't like me. You come up with the first thing you can think of to make me seem like a loser in your mind. That is what people say when they can't think of anything meaningful. I never said anything in the way that you chose to take it. I didn't mean it the way you read it. God. Fucking. Damn it.

Sounds like somebody got beat up by a theater kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Explain yourself then. Why would movie musicals be called homo erotic? By the way, you kind of missed the point in my previous comment. You alienate theatre people by calling their works (in movie form) homo erotic. You alienate anyone else who participates in homo erotic behavior (hence the sports reference). So you have pretty much alienated anyone other than a small group of people who do nothing athletic wise nor performing arts wise. Way to miss the point of the comment, numbskull.

It. Is. A. Joke. Do you understand that? It's a joke. Stop taking shit seriously. It makes you look like you have no sense of humor at all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Damn, Cody relax. Did you really expect everyone to see that it's a joke? You seem worked up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes i expected everyone to get it's a joke. Anyone should be able to tell that no person in the world could literally mean this. I'm not worked up at all, I just wish people wouldn't be voluntarily retarded

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not just getting that it's a joke it's also understanding that you didn't mean any offense by it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i love myself a good musical just as much as the next girl, but this post made me laugh out loud. like really. and i'm a preeeetty huge theatre snob. people just have to learn to stop taking things they see on this site so seriously

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you're confusing musicals with Lady Gaga's music videos...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HOLY SHIT. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS KIDS. CALM YOUR FUCKING HORMONES.
