Real Harry Potter fans know what blast-ended skrewts are, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
real harry potter fans could tell me the relationship between molly weasley and gideon prewett, with quotation proof not from book seven.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Isn't Prewett Molly's maiden name? I think they're related, not sure, I haven't read OOTP in a while, but I think they're siblings.
Oh, and we see him first in Book 5 at Hermione and Ron's congratulatory dinner, he was in the photo Mad-Eye showed Harry.
Again, I'm not sure.

Real Harry Potter fans would be able to tell you about Voldemort's family because they actually read the book.
by Anonymous13 years ago
We see four of Voldemort's relatives up close and personal: Marvolo Gaunt, his grandfather; (I can never remember his name but sthg with an M) Gaunt, his uncle; Merope Gaunt, his mother; and Tom Riddle, his father.
The Gaunt family were descendants of Salazar Slytherin, and further back one of the Peverell brothers. Although not having possessed much money, the Gaunts thought themselves practically royalty because of their pure blood status. Marvolo and his son were known muggle haters, as was most if not all the family. On one occasion, the son attacked a muggle, which brought the family to the attention of the Ministry. The son was sentenced to a long imprisonment in Azkaban, and so he did. Marvolo went to Azkaban for three months, and by the time he got out, Merope was gone. She was always practically a squib, finding difficulty with the simplest of spells and charms. It might have been natural, or that she was severely oppressed by both her father and brother. Anyway, she fou...

My point was to say that you can't call yourself a Harry Potter fan if you've never read the book. Not that if you don't know a bunch of random facts you aren't one or that you need to prove yourself on here as a harry potter fan.
It is one of my biggest pet peeves in the world when people say they love Harry Potter but then oh wait they've only seen the movies.
by Anonymous13 years ago
hpistheshit, you can't call yourself a fan if you say, "the book." there's multiple.
by Anonymous13 years ago
