Your computer it's nothing without the internet... amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I have some PC games and downloaded some games off the internet that don't need the internet to run.

Sentences nothing without proper punctuation.

I dunno, Solitaire can be pretty entertaining.

I have a couple TV shows I bought from iTunes, so I re-watch those when the internet's broken. I am also one of the few people who knows how to play Minesweeper and enjoys it, so I do that too.

I like writing a lot (novels, ideas, poetry), so once when my computer was having issues, I actually freaked out without Microsoft Word. My phone has awesome internet, so there's always that.

You couldn't use Notepad?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I haven't used notepad in ages! I'm not even sure my laptop has it. Anyway, my whole laptop crashed, so I couldn't use it. I was just angry about not having Word. No internet wasn't a problem.

"I'm not even sure my laptop has it."
So your laptop has Microsoft Word but not Notepad? Technologically Impaired Duck, right here.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I haven't visually seen notepad on my laptop, and I haven't used it since maybe elementary. I didn't know it was conjoined with Word then, and I haven't thought about it in ages. That fact does not make me a "Technologically Impaired Duck."

Notepad is just a program that lets you make plain text files. It's often one of the first programs ever written for a GUI. Windows 1 had Notepad.
by Anonymous12 years ago
It's not conjoined with word. It's a program that comes with Microsoft OSs. Like calculator.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Okay, I wasn't aware that it was a program that comes with it. Thanks.

I think a computer still serves the purpose of BEING A FUCKING COMPUTER even without Internet.

Except where I hold all my photos and videos and music and everything important...
