+709 You meet an average of 2 people each day, considering some days you meet 0, and some days you meet 300. So if you live to be 100, you will meet 73,000. There are about 6,697,354,040 people in the world so if you were a hundred years old now you would know .0001% of the population. About 1% of those people will be your age, but yeah you met your soulmate today in math class, amirite?

For some reason I love this post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because you're a soft little fairy tale dreamer

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because I actually have feelings? And plus, people always talk about how they met their 'soulmate' and this post talks about how unlikely that is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@648999 (crazyllamas): GAH! Why do people assume I'm being serious? Sarcasm is hard to display over the internet =[

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thanks, and my mistake, it's .001%, not .0001.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This kind of just made my day a little brighter, thank you.

I don't have a math class this semester O.O

He's in my math class, my science class, my history class....well I stole his schedule and signed up for all the same classes as him. We're going to make beautiful babies.

I thought the 'soulmate' bit kind of made this post a bit worse than it would have been without it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

All of that makes perfect sense to me except for the second half of the last sentence. Are you saying that statistically, if you have a soulmate, it's likely you see them in school, or something? I really don't get this at all... Were you being sarcastic about the soulmate thing? If so, then I just got it now. (I'm a bit stupid when it comes to understanding things like this) 'Cause if you only ever meet 0.001% of the population, it would be way, way, way more likely that your "soulmate" would be part of the other 99.999%... (Ignore me if you want, I think I'm an idiot. xP)

haha yeah. the whole point is that even if you live to be 100 years old, you'll still only have met so few of the people in the world. but a lot of teenagers say they met their 'soulmate' at school/the mall/etc. and OP is just pointing out the stupidity in all of it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

^ (S)he's right, the last bit was sarcasm.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats exactly what i was about to say! guess neither of us are getting married

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dear People Who Don't Get It, The "soulmate" bit was sarcasm. It's poking fun at people who say "LIKE, OMG! I just met my soulmate!" Sincerely, on DBPB too much.
