+218 Phone companies should make an app that sends an automatic text to whoever texted when you're driving so people won't get distracted by their phones and cause accidents. amirite?

Then how would it know what to send?

I assume they mean just a message like "Sorry I can't respond but I'm driving at the moment. I'll text you back when I have both my hands free." or something like that.

This post has some missing information. How would the app know you're driving? Would you have to open it every time, or does it use your phone's GPS?

It's not a sales pitch. It's an idea. Geez

I would think they could make a feature, similar to like if you were setting your phone on vibration. "Driving mode."

It can't be impractical if it already exists.

Android users: Drivesmart I'mSure Apple has one but idk the name

Phone companies don't have to make the app.

A little toggle switch at the bottom of your message app, if you use an iPhone. That would be sufficient.

Stop stealing ideas just because you can't come up with your own.... It doesn't make you cool. It just makes you look stupid.

They already made this app. My friend has it.
