It's strange how one language can have so many variations, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I agree, I kinda like how the brits do not pronounce the "tt" sounds.
They say things like ba--le.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ba--le? what's that meant to be?
by Anonymous13 years ago
battle. the word seems to be chopped without the t shound pronounced, it is probably normal to you, but I like memicking it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ohh, battle? i see, i thought you were just saying "bottle" in an american accent! you know, "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHrrle"

Especially Arabic and Spanish.

I hate having to learn French. Every area of the language has exceptions, and every exception has exceptions.

Isn't this post talking about dialects of a language?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know, I didn't even read it. I just saw ''language'' and felt like I had to post about my experiences.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh, ok then. My experience: I'm learning Spanish, which is easy so far, and on my way to becoming trilingual.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Nice. What other language do you speak?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Cantonese Chinese. My Mandarin is decent too, but I'm not good enough to consider it one of the languages I speak.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah, technically I understand Arabic too (most of it, anyway) but I can't read or speak it so it's not a language for me.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Arabic seems pretty cool. Yeah, my Chinese reading level is probably equivalent to that of a five-year-old's but I've been speaking it all my life, so it's a language for me.
