+687 Student: “Can I go to the bathroom?” Teacher: “NO! Go before class! That’s what your passing period is for!” student: “Okay, how bout YOU try to go from a class on the other side of the school, go to your locker to put away books and get new supplies, THEN go to the bathroom, THEN get to class on time, while being forced all the while to walk behind slow kids, all in FIVE MINUTES. am... amirite?

i have a huge school and 3 minutes. some classes even if there wasn't anybody in the halls except you, you would still be late

by Anonymous 13 years ago

same thing :/ my high school was massive, plus 3 floors and about 20 portables. And it was very possible to get a class at the far end of the 3rd floor then have to run to the portables and hope you made it in 5 min. Luckily, most teachers were pretty understanding if they knew you had that problem.

Yes. I love you!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hahaha, I love the part where you are abt to put Amirite!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha when I tried to fix it, it was too late to edit! So now it looks like I have a stutter :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh hahaha I think it looks cool! :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My school is 3/4ths of a mile in length, and we only have 4 minutest

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's possible to get to class on time in my school, but the whole toilet issue is because of the fact that they CLOSE THE GOD DAMN TOILETS!!! They put a note up saying the toilets are unlocked period 1,3,5 and lunch and break time, but they really are only open at lunch but at lunch you aren't allowed inside the building >:( GAH WHAT DO THEY WANT US TO DO?!?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ours are like that, too. They lock the bathrooms so people don't smoke or have sex in there, but it kind of ruins the point of even having bathrooms, if you have to go and get someone to unlock it all the time..

i have six minutes, but i have a small school and 2,000 kids. it's a bitch.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same, kinda. We have six minutes, and my school is all one level but has four units plus a performing arts center, and the weirdly formatted area where the gym is. It's all connected. One of the hallways is a quarter mile long. We have around 2400 kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

holy crapp, my school is one level, but there are branches of hallways everywhere, half of them go uphill but use ramps instead of stairs? lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have 6 mins..but my school is way too big (in size and population) so teachers dont mind if ur a min or so late.( I have to walk from one side of my school to the other side on the top of a hill) I get there in 8 mins..I hate it!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have six minutes. If I hurry and get lucky I can get to my second period a little after the minute bell.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have 4 floors including a basement and 4000 kids, there aren't enough classes so we even have trailers on our school grounds.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have 5 minutes, and 3 buildings with 2 floors each. There's the first building, then the cafeteria, then the second building, then the courtyard, then the library, then the third building.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have 10 minutes :) but part of our school is under construction so we have to use an old elementary school a few blocks away for some classes. Our school is 5 floors... suck when your homeroom is on the fifth and your next class is a few blocks away D:<

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We have 8 minutes. but getting from the third foor to a first flooor locker to all the way across the building to the art/music wing can be near impossible. luckily, we a have a "musical minute" thats just any type of music which plays a minute before the bell.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Where do you live? That seems so cool! I wish my school did that :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

in Illinois. It's just somthing our school does. I like it, though. It helps with tadies and stuff.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We don't have any specific time.. Just get there asap. We usually have to wait until morning tea or lunch to go to the bathroom.. We don't have lockers though, we just carry all our books in our bags.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

morning tea... are you british?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nope, New Zealander haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol. I have 5 minutes, 3 floors, and 3000+ students. It's not that hard to get to your class depending if you're staying in the main building or not, but still - no time to use the bathroom.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i said this to my english teacher. he told me to spend less time on amirite.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well you tell HIM to... I don't know. Just come up with a good comeback.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't have three minutes, let alone five :( Bell goes, and teachers expect you to be in the next class.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm in middle school, but I go to the biggest school in my county (almost 1000 kids). We only have four minutes as passing periods, and our school is three floors, and my locker's in no-man's land.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

my school is 2 stories and about 2500 kids. we have five minutes.
