+218 There are a lot of animals which can have a natural sex change in the middle of their lives. So if for example there were two coral reef fishes which are identical twins and one of them changed sex and then they had children, the outcome would be fascinating, amirite?

both fish and fishes are acceptable

Only if talking about two species; ie. the fishes in that river are salmon and sturgeon

Fish can't have identical twins.

I don't know anything about that, but you get my point. Also, the reply button doesn't seem to be working properly.

Mine wasn't working, but now it seems to be, I think it's because of the new show/hide reply comments (not a fan of that new feature, but meh) Only mammals can produce identical twins, and no mammals can naturally change their gender. It's a cool concept, but it's impossible.
