Our school got MacBooks. I'm using mine right now to type this comments. Obviously, they've been super effective in boosting my productivity.

at Adelaide University all science students next year are getting a free ipad to download lecture notes and textbooks.

This reminds me of that commercial for the kids' version of a Kindle (well that's what I call it) where it says, "Once upon a time, there were books..." So stupid.

I'm not a big fan of this whole technology thing becoming so prominent. Our kids are gonna be so dependent on that stuff.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, it's great and all. But we need to be able to function without it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, it kinda scares me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Most already are, in english, we have a research project and the teacher said at least one of the sources HAD to be from the school library and people were like we can't get all of them off the internet??
by Anonymous13 years ago
this is true...if we make it to 2023...
by Anonymous13 years ago
