You could have simplified this to say "You would rather have brownies than a cake."

Once, while I was trying to make brownies and chocolate frosting at the same time, I accidentally cracked an egg into the frosting. My response to this was to pour the frosting into the brownie batter and create brownies so rich that not even a hyperactive nine-year-old could stomach more than one at a time.
